The board

The board is your kitchen’s live queue. Each order is a ticket; you work its items, then bump it to clear it. Everything below works by touch, mouse, or a bump bar / keyboard.

A prep station on sample orders. Tap an item to tick it off; tap the green button to bump the ticket.

  • Top line — the order number, its type (Dine-in, Takeaway…), and a timer that counts up and shifts green → amber → red as it ages.
  • Tags you might see: New (just arrived), Recall (brought back after being bumped), Void (cancelled — see below), and arrows like → Grill when a ticket has been sent to or from another station.
  • Destination — the table, tab, or customer name.
  • Progress — a “2/3 done” readout as you tick items off.
  • Items — quantity, name, and any modifiers (added in green, removed in red). Order notes get their own strip.
  • Tick off an item — tap its row. It greys out with a ✓. Tap again to un-tick. This is just a visual aid for your own station — it doesn’t send the order anywhere.
  • Bump the order — tap the button at the bottom of the ticket. Its label tells you what it’ll do:
    • Bump order — clears the ticket (or, on a flow, sends it to the next station).
    • ✓ Bump order — same, shown once every item is ticked.
    • Clear void — removes a cancelled ticket from this screen.
    • Held — fire to start / continue — greyed out; the ticket is waiting on a held course. Fire it first.

Tap Priority (the star) to push a ticket to the front of the queue on every screen it touches. Tap again to clear it. Use it for a VIP table or a re-fire that needs to jump the line.

Tap Send to to move a ticket to a different screen — say, a dessert order that landed on the wrong station. The other screen picks it up; a Return button brings it back. (On a flow, the route is automatic, so Send-to is hidden — see Flows.)

When the front-of-house cancels an order that’s already on your screen, it stays put — struck through and tagged Void — so you’re not left cooking something nobody wants and you’re not silently missing a cancellation. Its rows go inert; the only button is Clear void, which removes it from this screen. Each screen clears its own voids independently.

Along the bottom is the Recently bumped strip: orders you’ve cleared, kept for the window set in Settings (Keep completed orders for). Made a mistake? Tap ↺ Recall to bring one back.

  • Tap Recall # to type an order number and pull it back by number.
  • The strip is also your Outbox on a flow — it’s where you un-advance a ticket you sent on too soon, or recall home one you sent to another station. See Flows.
  • A small chevron shows or hides the stats (orders in queue, average time, oldest ticket, number bumped).

Tap a ticket’s header to open it full-screen. You get the whole order — every course, seat numbers, where each item is routed, per-stage timing — and the same bump controls, larger. Close it with the ✕. It’s the quickest way to see everything about a busy or coursed order.

Switch a screen to All-day in Settings and instead of tickets you get a running count of every item to make, grouped by category (“6× Ribeye”). Good for a prep bench or an at-a-glance production screen.

Try it: open Settings (gear, top-right) and switch View to All-day.
